Unfortunately, the experience for me and my daughter was not great! The man who greeted us at the beginning was in my opinion not professional. It took a while for us to be served. In the end I had to get up and ask the person on the desk if I could order our drinks. I then had to call over the waitress after half an hour of receiving our tea to ask for our food. The sandwiches and cakes were nothing to dance about!

Delicious cakes and scones, but the bread for the sandwiches was not fresh.

It appears that the people who did not have a Groupon voucher had more cakes and sandwiches ( I asked one of the customers what she had ordered and she said it was the traditional afternoon tea for £28.95). I also suffer from Coeliac Disease so had informed The Grosvenor of this when I booked and double checked a week in advance - I was told it was not a problem. When my afternoon tea arrived I was given 3 finger sandwiches and 2 gluten free coconut macaroons and was told there were no gluten free cakes. A packet of 6 coconut macaroons can be bought for £1.50 in most supermarkets. Not impressed at all.

Really good! Groupon offer was excellent; however I wouldn't pay the full price for tea at The Grosvenor. I love the fact that the hotel is at Victoria Station - no further travel needed. Thanks!

A lovely relaxing hotel with a very attentive staff and good selection of sarnies, cakes and the coffee kept flowing. Also so near Victoria bus/train stations. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Very nice food and nice setting, but service wasn't great to be honest. Still, a nice day out.

Don't waste your money! Even for free I would not go back! First of all, from the beginning the staff treated us like they would not enjoy their job. We bothered them asking to explain how is their afternoon tea and how it comes. I've asked my plate to be replaced and I waited for more than 10 mins. Regarding the food I have never paid for a worst food ever which I didn't eat anyway.
