About Quex Park
Voted the most inspiring by Museum and Heritage Professionals in 2014, Powell-Cotton Museum and Quex Gardens offer a unique insight into the past. The exhibition itself features a collection of natural history, ethnography as well as decorative arts. The gardens at Quex date back to 15th century. Heavily remodeled throughout later centuries, they contain a great many specimen trees and shrubs. The so-called Quex House was home to the Quekes family until 1777, when it was bought by the ancestor of Percy Powell-Cotton.
