Coldsmoking cookery school is headed by Turan and his wife Alison. Turan has written many food articles for magazines and has also written two books on food smoking and preserving. The latest, Curing, Smoking and Drying Food, was published in May 2015. His knowledge is shared through a range of courses in which attendees learn these artisan techniques. Turan’s relaxed training style employs a variety of practical and theory enabling visitors the means to carry on the good work at home.
