How do I use my Edinburgh Dungeons discount when booking online?

It’s very easy: Just input your discount code into the clearly-marked concessions box on the booking form and the correct price, including any savings, will be automatically calculated for you when you checkout.

How do I collect my tickets when I visit the Edinburgh Dungeon?

Please go to the priority queue outside the attraction when you arrive. If the person named on the booking supplies valid ID such as a passport or driver's license then there will be no problem when collecting your tickets on the day.

How do I collect tickets for the Edinburgh Dungeon booked on someone else’s card?

If the cardholder is not attending on the day, they will need to provide a signed letter of authorisation to the named person collecting the tickets, stating clearly that the name of the cardholder authorises the person collecting tickets to collect them. They'll also need to include the relevant order number paid for by their card along with the last 4 digits of the card number used to pay.

The named person collecting the tickets will also need to bring a valid photo ID along with the signed letter. There is no need to note down the Edinburgh Dungeons voucher code once it’s been used to make the booking.

When is the Edinburgh Dungeon open?

Edinburgh Dungeon is open seven days a week, excluding Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Can I bring my own food and drink into The Edinburgh Dungeon?

The Edinburgh Dungeon does not have a restaurant or a café onsite and food cannot be eaten during the tour. They do, however, sell a selection of snacks and drinks in their Market Street Shop located at the end of the tour.

When is the quietest time to visit The Edinburgh Dungeon?

In general, the Dungeon is quieter towards first admission or late afternoon as they approach the last admission. However, this does vary according to the time of year.
