Warm pool, gym well equipped. Enjoyed Aqua Class. The spa was being refurbished when we were there. Check if it is open before you go.

if you book treatments, please make sure you ask to go in the room with the shower. had a body scrub, and had to walk to the changing rooms via reception to shower it off. The all idea was to have a relaxing day, with treatments. But was spoilt by having to go from a nice warm chilled out room with relaxing music, to a bright changing room. And then back again.

My friend and I added a deluxe pedicure and eyebrow wax & tidy to the 2 included treatments we did this 6 weeks prior to our visit but on arriving there was confusion about who was qualified enough to do this, although staff were really nice was unprofessional for some reason they had to scimp on the deluxe pedicure and my friend ended up having a foot massage when she'd added the deluxe pendicure on, the therapist should have recognised that this wasn't the right 'free' treatment to have when you bear in mind I had phoned and booked us in for a facial and back and shoulder massage, the therapist just must not have had this info passed on (this was my friends first ever visit to a spa and just didn't like to say plus communication was poor with that particular therapist). Sorry to complain but it was a real treat for us and we'd spent overall for the day £210 in total which is a lot of money. It wasn't worth £210 for what we had. So overall lunch was satisfactory sandwiches presented soggy and sat in wet lettuce. Scone, cakes and tea were delicious. Hot tub outside was great and we had sunshine too which was a bonus, very relaxed by hot tub. Free treatments - Ok very relaxing and lady had a really nice touch, room unrelaxing, low or non music Deluxe pedicure- good but cut short, gel nails - excellent Eyebrow wax - poor and rushed - had to tidy up myself on return home - not worth £10 Hotel bar - lively and comfortable Hope this has been helpful!

Friendly staff & excellent treatments. There was a class on in the pool while I was there but you had plenty of room to swim.
