How do I use my GWR discount code?

Select an offer, copy the code and follow the link to the GWR website where you can enter your travel dates and search for the prices that suit you. Once you have entered the checkout process, selected any extras, and signed into or created a GWR account, you can paste your code into the voucher code box provided to redeem your discount. If no code is supplied with your offer, life gets even easier! You can expect your savings to be applied automatically - no further action required!

What is the GWR refund policy?

You may be eligible for a refund for your GWR journey if you were unable to travel. If this was due to a delay or cancellation, you are entitled to a full refund, and may even be entitled to GWR compensation in the form of Delay Repay. However, if you chose not to travel for a different reason, you may still be able to claim a refund, minus a £10 admin fee. Does GWR offer a student discount?

Absolutely! Students are entitled to a 16 to 25 railcard for discounted rail travel. Please be aware that if you book a discounted student ticket, you must travel with your railcard or risk a fine.

Can I change my GWR train ticket?

You can change the time, date or class of most GWR tickets. However, you can expect to be charged a £10 administration fee for doing so.
